Windows:
- Pentium processor or compatible.
- Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 4, or greater
- VGA with 8-bit color (256 colors) or greater.
- 12 MB available RAM / 6 MB free disk space
- Windows compatible sound card
- Netscape Navigator: 3.x or greater, or Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.x or greater, or AOL 3.x or greater.
Macintosh:
- PowerPC.
- MacOS System 7.6.1 or greater
- 8-bit (256) colors or greater
- 12 MB available RAM/ 6 MB free disk space

Completing Shockwave Installation
The first time you play a Shockwave movie, you will be asked to complete your installation by downloading further components. This auto-update feature will enable you to update your installation within the browser without having to download another installer.
